The invention discloses a general steel structure for a fabricated building frame. The general steel structure comprises a base, the base comprises a first groove, first fixing grooves, first springs,a first clamping groove, a first threaded through groove, a first threaded groove and a first hexagon socket screw, the first groove is formed in the upper end of the base, the first fixing grooves are formed in the two sides of the bottom end of the first groove, and the first springs are fixedly installed in the first fixing grooves. The position of a stand column can be fixed through the base,the position of the stand column can be fixed through the first hexagon socket screw, the position of the stand column is more stable by inserting a first fixing column into a second groove, the shock resistance of the stand column can be improved through the first springs, and the stress surface of the base can be increased through a reinforcing block; a connecting mechanism can quickly connecta cross beam and the stand column, so that complex welding work is omitted, the frame can be quickly spliced and formed, the position of the stand column can be more stable through a reinforcing rod,and frame deformation is avoided.
