A sheet affixation device 1 is provided with: a rectangular frame body 2 having four sides each having an internal rail 3 and a rail holding section 8 which has a groove 9 capable of containing an internal rail 3; and a width increasing means 4 for increasing the width W of the internal rails 3. In a state in which each of the internal rails 3 is contained in one of the grooves 9, gaps 19 in whichan end 51 of a sheet 50 is disposed are formed between the internal rail 3 and inner walls 10 of the groove 9. The width increasing means increases the width W of the internal rails 3, and this enables the ends 51 of the sheets 50, which are disposed in the gaps 19, to be retained within the grooves 9 while being gripped between side surfaces 3a, 3a of the internal rails 3 and the inner walls 10opposed to the side surfaces 3a, 3a.
