The invention relates to an assembly type inner partition wall and a construction process thereof. The assembly type inner partition wall comprises a main frame and a plurality of wall body modules connected into the main frame, wherein the main frame comprises a top beam, a bottom beam, a middle beam and vertical beams, the top beam, the bottom beam and the middle beam are parallel and opposite in vertical position, the vertical beams are connected to the ends of the top beam, the bottom beam and the middle beam, limiting protrusions are arranged on the upper side faces of the bottom beam andthe middle beam in the axial direction, and clamping grooves are formed in the lower side faces of the top beam and the middle beam in the axial direction; and the wall body modules are inserted between the bottom beam and the middle beam and between the top beam and the middle beam in a sliding mode from one end of the main frame, the lower ends of the wall body modules are connected with the limiting protrusions, and the upper ends of the wall body modules are clamped in the clamping grooves. The wall body modules are slidably mounted from one side of the main frame, the upper ends of the wall body modules are limited by the clamping grooves, and the lower ends of the wall body modules are guided by limiting ribs, so that the wall body modules can be in butt joint neatly, the mounting procedure is simple, and the flatness of the mounted inner partition wall is higher.
