The invention relates to a polycarboxylate superplasticizer preparation method, in particular to a polycarboxylate superplasticizer powder filling device which comprises a worktable, an intermittent transposition mechanism, a rotary supporting ring assembly, a powder filling mechanism and a vibrating mechanism. The intermittent transposition mechanism is arranged on the tabletop of the worktable and comprises a poking chuck, and four arc grooves are circumferentially distributed in the poking chuck at equal intervals relative to the center of the poking chuck. The rotary supporting ring assembly is arranged on the tabletop of the worktable, and the rotating center axis of the rotary supporting ring assembly coincides with the rotating center axis of the poking chuck. The powder filling mechanism and the vibrating mechanism are both arranged on the tabletop of the worktable and are distributed at the side positions of two adjacent arc grooves in a one-to-one correspondence manner. The device involved in the method can cooperate with an automatic filling production line to perform automatic quantitative filling of polycarboxylate superplasticizer powder and automatic spreading and compacting of barreled powder, so that the problems of low manual operation efficiency and operation inconvenience are solved, and the labor intensity of workers is reduced.
