The invention discloses a cleaning device for expressway guardrails. The cleaning device comprises a support, a solar cell panel, a cleaning motor, a water tank, a guide wheel, a cleaning brush, a transmission shaft and a driving assembly. The support is formed by inversely arranging an inequilateral U-shaped plate, the cleaning motor is arranged at the top of the support, and an output shaft of the cleaning motor faces the long side of the U-shaped plate; and the cleaning motor is connected with the cleaning brush through the transmission shaft, the guide wheel is installed on the inner sideof the U-shaped plate, an arc groove is formed in the guide wheel, the solar cell panel and the water tank are installed at the top of the cleaning motor, the water tank is provided with a water pipe,a water outlet of the water pipe corresponds to the arc groove of the guide wheel, and the driving assembly is installed on the outer side of the long edge of the U-shaped plate. The expressway guardrails can be automatically cleaned, sludge, dust and the like on the guardrails can be effectively cleaned, only a small space beside the guardrails is occupied on the road, passing vehicles are not hindered, and traffic is not affected.
