The invention discloses a transverse plane moving stereo garage which comprises a plurality of parking layers which are vertically arranged, each parking layer is provided with a transverse moving channel, at least two rows of parking spaces are arranged on one side of each transverse moving channel, the parking spaces are arranged in the transverse direction, and each parking space is fixedly provided with a parking comb frame. The transverse moving channel is slidably connected with at least two transverse moving platforms, the transverse moving platforms are slidably provided with first longitudinal guide rails, the first longitudinal guide rails are slidably connected with longitudinal sliding frame bodies, the longitudinal sliding frame bodies can longitudinally move along the first longitudinal guide rails, the longitudinal sliding frame bodies are slidably provided with bearing comb frames, and the longitudinal sliding frame bodies are provided with hydraulic cylinders. The hydraulic cylinder is used for driving the bearing comb frame to ascend and descend, each parking space is provided with a second longitudinal guide rail, and the longitudinal sliding frame body can moveto the parking comb frame. Two rows of parking spaces can be arranged on one side of the transverse moving channel, so that more automobiles can be stored, and the space utilization rate is greatly increased.
