The invention discloses a fireproof and thermal insulation material and a preparation method and application thereof. The fireproof and thermal insulation material comprises a fireproof layer and a thermal insulation layer, and the fireproof layer covers and is fixed on the outer surface of the thermal insulation layer. The thermal insulation layer is a silicate material layer, and the fireproof layer is an expansion material layer. The preparation method comprises the following steps that (1) an adhesive is arranged on the surface of the fireproof layer in a spraying or blade coating manner,and the thermal insulation layer is attached to the surface of the fireproof layer to obtain an intermediate product; and (2) a certain pressure is applied to the intermediate product, the state is kept for a certain time, and the fireproof and thermal insulation material is obtained. The fireproof and thermal insulation material can effectively block heat on one side of a fire receiving surface when meeting fire or being heated, devices and base materials behind a surface back to fire are prevented from being damaged by heating, and when the fireproof and thermal insulation material serves asa lock sheet to be applied to a door lock, the phenomenon that flames or toxic smoke penetrates through a gap in a lock to cause fire mixing or poisoning can be effectively avoided;. and the preparation method is low in cost, high in efficiency, simple in process and suitable for large-scale industrial production.
