The invention relates to a steel bridge deck slab cracking reinforcing structure and a construction method thereof. The steel bridge deck slab cracking reinforcing structure comprises a bridge deck slab, steel plate strips which are arranged on the bridge deck slab in the transverse bridge direction, wherein the steel plate strips are in bolted connection with the bridge deck slab through bolts; shear nails which are fixed to the bridge deck slab and arranged between adjacent steel plate strips; and an ultra-high performance concrete layer which is laid on the bridge deck slab and the steel plate strips, wherein the ultra-high performance concrete layer is connected with the bridge deck slab through the shear nails. According to the reinforcing structure for cracking of the steel bridge deck slab and the construction method thereof, stable connection between the bridge deck slab and the steel plate strips can be guaranteed, disengaging is not likely to happen, and durability is good.
