The invention discloses a metal yield-friction energy dissipation composite damper. The metal yield-friction energy dissipation composite damper comprises a shear fork component, V-shaped components and curved beams, wherein the shear fork component comprises two first rotating parts which are hinged to each other; each V-shaped component comprises two second rotating parts which are hinged to each other; the curved beams are symmetrically arranged at two ends of the shear fork component; two ends of each curved beam are separately hinged to the ends of the first rotating parts on two sides; the V-shaped components are symmetrically arranged on two sides of the shear fork component; the two second rotating parts of each V-shaped component are separately hinged to the two first rotating parts through two pretightening bolts; a first friction plate is clamped at a hinged position of the two first rotating parts; two sides of the first friction plate are separately in contact with the twofirst rotating parts; a second friction plate is clamped at a hinged position of each first rotating part and the corresponding second rotating part; and two sides of each second friction plate are separately in contact with the corresponding first rotating part and the corresponding second rotating part. The composite damper has a displacement amplifying function, and two energy dissipation mechanisms of metal yield and friction are utilized comprehensively.
