The invention discloses a complete method for preparing and constructing a suspension bridge main cable protection infinite-length winding wrapping tape. The complete method mainly comprises a preparation method (1) and a construction method (2) of the infinite-length winding wrapping tape. By preparing the infinite-length winding wrapping tape and the construction method, the infinite-length winding wrapping tape is directly wound on the surface of a bridge main cable in a spiral winding manner or manually by adopting a tape winding machine; and after hot-pressing fusion, the winding wrappingtape is vulcanized, contracted and tightly attached to the outer surface of the main cable to form a protective sleeve, so that a main cable steel cable is protected. The complete method has efficient construction speed and excellent comprehensive performance, and is suitable for a field construction operation manner that one wrapping tape is wound to the bottom in any unit cable clamp length. According to the complete method, the integrated application technology and method are adopted, the problems of lap joint quality defects and uncontrollability of the wrapping tape field construction link are systematically solved, excellent environmental protection performance is achieved, and it can be guaranteed that a bridge main cable protection product has the long service life.
