The invention provides a wall panel hoisting tool and method. The wall panel hoisting tool comprises a hoisting fixture and a corner protector; the hoisting fixture comprises a clamping main body anda hoisting ring arranged at the top of the clamping main body; a first clamping groove is formed in the clamping main body; and a second clamping groove is formed in the corner protector. The wall panel hoisting method comprises the steps that the hoisting fixture is fixed to the top of the wall panel, and the corner protectors are mounted at the corners of the two sides of the bottom of the wallpanel correspondingly; the wall panel is erected in the short edge direction and is lifted; after the wall panel is vertically hoisted, the corner protector is dismounted; the wall panel is conveyed to a to-be-mounted position of the wall surface, and the wall panel is mounted on the wall surface; the hoisting clamp is dismounted; and all the steps are repeatedly executed until hoisting of all thewall panels is completed. According to the wall panel hoisting tool and method, the burden of a crane is relieved, the hoisting efficiency of the wall panel is effectively improved, the constructionperiod is shortened, the flatness of the bottom of each wall panel is controlled, and the construction quality is improved.
