The invention discloses a method for hoisting a prefabricated external wall panel. The method comprises the following steps that S1, clamps and a pushing device are prepared, the clamps comprise an upper clamp and a lower clamp, a groove is formed in the ground, the pushing device is arranged in the groove, the lower clamp is horizontally placed on the ground, and the lower clamp is located above the pushing device; S2, the prefabricated external wall panel is horizontally placed on the ground, and the part, with a reserved window hole, of the prefabricated external wall panel is located above the lower clamp; S3, the upper clamp is assembled on the lower clamp through a connecting structure so that the prefabricated external wall panel can be clamped between the upper clamp and the lower clamp; S4, the lower clamp is pushed through the pushing device so that the prefabricated external wall panel can be turned over till the prefabricated external wall panel is turned over to be in a nearly vertical state; and S5, hoisting construction is conducted on the prefabricated external wall panel through cooperation of hoisting equipment and the hoisting points reserved in the top of the prefabricated external wall panel. According to the method for hoisting the prefabricated external wall panel, hoisting construction is conducted on the prefabricated external wall panel through the method for hoisting the prefabricated external wall panel, and the internal corner of the prefabricated external wall panel can be prevented from cracking in the overturning process of the prefabricated external wall panel.
