The invention relates to a roof greening construction method. The roof greening construction method comprises the following steps that a heat insulation plate is laid on an original building roof, thesurface of the original building roof is cleared before laying the heat insulation plate, drying is conducted, adhesive mortar is mixed uniformly, and is scraped on the surface of the original building roof by using a tooth-shaped scraping plate to form a rack shape, and the heat insulation plate is pasted; an anti-leakage layer is laid on the heat insulation plate, waterproof paint is sprayed onthe heat insulation plate, and then a styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) waterproof coiled material is laid; a root isolation layer is laid on the anti-leakage layer, and a polyvinyl chloride layer is baked by using a spray gun, and uniformly laid on the anti-leakage layer; a waterproof layer is laid on the root isolation layer, and a non-woven fabric is flat laid on the root isolation layer and fixed to the root isolation layer; a water storage structure is mounted on the waterproof layer; a filter layer is laid on the water storage structure; a planting layer is laid on the filter layer; a vegetation layer is planted on the planting layer; and a water storage structure is mounted at the bottom end of the original building roof. The roof greening construction method has the effect of increasing the water utilization rate.
