The brace device comprises a core stress component, a first structure connecting component, a second structure connecting component and an outer restraining component, wherein the first structure connecting component and the second structure connecting component are fixedly connected to the two ends of the core stress component, the core stress component comprises a plurality of energy dissipation pieces, bamboo joint type connecting sleeves and a plurality of prestressed steel bars arranged inthe energy dissipation pieces and the bamboo joint type connecting sleeves in a penetrating mode, the energy dissipation pieces and the bamboo joint type connecting sleeves are prefabricated pieces,each energy dissipation piece comprises a middle section and a connecting section, the connecting sections are detachably connected with the bamboo joint type connecting sleeves, the outer circumferential faces of the bamboo joint type connecting sleeves are in contact fit with the inner circumferential face of the outer restraining component, and only one end of the outer restraining component isfixedly connected with the first structure connecting component or the second structure connecting component. The core stress component is formed by connecting a plurality of detachably-connected energy dissipation pieces and the bamboo joint type connecting sleeves, the energy dissipation pieces and the bamboo joint type connecting sleeves are prefabricated pieces produced in batches in a factory, thus modular production, design and assembly of the core stress component are achieved, and the requirement for different lengths of the buckling restrained brace on site is flexibly met.
