SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING A VEHICLE DOOR RELATIVE TO A VEHICLE BODY
The invention relates to a system and method for adjusting a vehicle door relative to a vehicle body. The system for adjusting the vehicle door comprises: an electric adjusting device; a control device for controlling the adjustment device, the control device being configured to receive an operation instruction and control the adjustment device depending on the received operation instruction for adjusting the vehicle door; and a sensor device for detecting an object. The control device is designed to evaluate whether an operating command is received in a near region (N) relative to the vehicledoor (1) via the operating device in order to carry out an anti-collision monitoring. In order to prevent collision monitoring, the control device (4) is also designed to: use the first identification region in the first operating mode if an operating command is received in the near region via the operating device; and use a second identification region (E), which is different from the first identification region (Z1), in a second operating mode if no operating command is received in the near region (N).

The invention relates to a system and method for adjusting a vehicle door relative to a vehicle body.
