The invention discloses an unmanned ship for cleaning garbage on the water surface. The unmanned ship comprises an equipment main body, an opening is formed in the front end of the equipment main body, and a driving device is arranged on the equipment main body; a garbage recycling bin is arranged in the equipment body, and an opening is formed in the front end of the garbage recycling bin and located in an opening of the equipment body. The equipment body can float on the water surface, one part of an opening of the garbage recycling bin is located below the water surface, the other part of the opening of the garbage recycling bin is located above the water surface, and a water pumping device is arranged in the garbage recycling bin, a garbage filter screen is arranged between the water pumping device and the internal space of the garbage recycling bin; the water pumping device can pump water at the opening of the garbage recycling bin into the internal space of the garbage recyclingbin and discharge the water out of the equipment main body; a remote control module and a navigation module are also arranged on the equipment main body; the ship further comprises a control unit, thedriving device and the water pumping device are controlled by the control unit, and the remote control module and the navigation module are connected to the control unit. The ship has the advantage that garbage on the water surface can be conveniently cleaned.
