The invention provides a telescopic safety guardrail for a building construction site. The telescopic safety guardrail comprises a first supporting column and a second supporting column, the bottom end of the first supporting column and the bottom end of the second supporting column are fixedly connected with supports, a plurality of universal wheels are installed on the supports, and at least twofirst transverse pipes are further fixed to the first supporting column. Second transverse pipes with the same number as the first transverse pipes are further fixed to the second supporting column,and the first transverse pipes and the second transverse pipes can be mutually sleeved in a one-to-one correspondence mode and connected together through fasteners. By the adoption of the technical scheme, the first transverse pipes and the second transverse pipes are mutually sleeved, so that the overall protective guardrail is retractable in length, the protective guardrail can be applied to various different construction sites, the universal wheels are installed both at the bottom ends of the first supporting column and the second supporting column, the protective guardrail is convenient totransfer, and the utilization efficiency of resources is improved; by arranging a plurality of electrical appliance elements, solar energy of the construction sites is effectively utilized, and the first supporting column or the second supporting column are wrapped with waterproof canvas, so that the electrical appliance elements in the first supporting column or the second supporting column areprotected.
