The invention provides a gardening tool which comprises a walking assembly and a power assembly used for driving the walking assembly. The walking assembly comprises a wheel shaft and further comprises a clutch assembly, and the clutch assembly comprises a first matching part connected to the wheel shaft; the wheel shaft is sleeved with a second matching piece, and the second matching piece is matched with the first matching piece so as to drive the wheel shaft to rotate through the first matching piece; the wheel shaft is sleeved with a clutch part in a sliding mode, the clutch part is in transmission connection with the power assembly, and the clutch part is connected with the second matching piece to drive the second matching piece to move synchronously; a control assembly is connectedwith the clutch part to drive the clutch part to slide along the wheel shaft so as to control the second matching piece to be connected with or separated from the first matching piece. A sliding support is arranged to control the second matching piece and the first matching piece to be connected or disconnected, automatic separation and reunion can be achieved, and the beneficial effects of beingcompact in structure and quick in switching are achieved.
