The invention relates to a damping device, in particular to a damping device for road construction ground tamping. According to the damping device for road construction ground tamping, damping can beconducted on the position beside a tamped ground when a road is tamped, so that the road tamping work can be normally carried out. The damping device for road construction ground tamping comprises mounting plates, bearing rods and bearing plates, the mounting plates are symmetrically arranged, the bearing rods are connected to the middle sides of the tops of the mounting plates correspondingly, and the bearing plates are connected between the tops of the bearing rods and a driving mechanism on the same side. An S-shaped transverse groove is formed in the outer side of a slotting drill rod, thus the slotting drill rod is matched with a guide rod, the slotting drill rod can be fixed after rotation is stopped, then the damping device is fixed, and damping work is matched; and by arranging a weight increasing block, damping can be conducted on a damping connecting plate moving up and down in the construction process.
