The construction method comprises the following steps that S1, well sheet units are prefabricated, specifically, the well sheet units are manufactured in a factory, the well sheet units are in a regular hexagon shape, and the well sheet units are transported to a construction site for later use; S2, open caisson blade foot sections are assembled, specifically, the well sheet units are transported to an open caisson construction site, and the well sheet units are assembled on site to form the blade foot sections; S3, open caisson construction is conducted for the first time, specifically, the operation site is leveled, the assembled blade foot sections are placed on the leveled site, and soil excavation and sinkingare conducted; S4, subsequent open caisson construction is conducted, specifically, after the first-time open caisson construction is completed, a next open caisson standard section is assembled on the open caisson blade foot section through the well sheet units, excavation continues to be conducted, the open caisson sinks, and after sinking is completed, the next open caisson standard section continues to be assembled till the open caisson sinks to the preset depth; and S5, bottom sealing is conducted, specifically, an open caisson bottom plate is manufactured through concrete cast-in-place.The construction method has the effect of improving the open caisson construction efficiency.
