The invention discloses a fixing device and a faucet mounting device. The fixing device comprises a base and a briquetting mechanism; the briquetting mechanism comprises two pressing plates; locking rods are connected with the two pressing plates respectively; two connecting bases are arranged on the inner side wall of the base in a protruding mode; at least one locking rod can move in a working state or a moving state relative to the base; the movement of the locking rods in the working state or the moving state is matched with the change of the briquetting mechanism in an unfolding state ora folding state; and the locking rods can be driven to move through the change of the briquetting mechanism, or the briquetting mechanism is driven to change through the movement of the locking rods,so that the mounting and the dismounting are convenient.
