The invention discloses a comb tooth type lateral hydraulic lifting parking AGV and an AGV parking method. The AGV comprises a vehicle body, a lifting device is arranged on one side of the vehicle body, and an oil pump motor on the lifting device drives a hydraulic cylinder to drive a hydraulic lifter to do lifting motion; a comb plate is arranged on the hydraulic lifter, and comb teeth are installed on the two sides of the comb plate; and a plurality of driving wheels and a plurality of laser obstacle detectors are arranged at the bottom of the vehicle body, a laser navigator is further arranged on the vehicle body, and a main controller is arranged inside the vehicle body. According to the comb tooth type lateral hydraulic lifting parking AGV and the AGV parking method, the lifting device is arranged on the side edge of the AGV, the AGV body is designed to be of an inverted-T-shaped structure, the vehicle body is minimized, a carrying system is simplified, the occupied space of parking spaces and parking lot aisles is small, and the space utilization rate of a parking lot is increased; and when vehicles are parked and taken, the AGV parks and takes the vehicles from the side edgeof a three-dimensional parking device, and the operation efficiency of carrying equipment is improved.
