The invention discloses a dewatering method for a deep foundation pit of an existing building. The dewatering method comprises the steps of Step 1, dividing a total water area into a first-stage waterarea and a second-stage water area; Step 2, lowering the water level of the second-stage water area to a first preset height; Step 3, dividing the second-stage water area into a first water area anda second water area; and Step 4, lowering the water level of the second water area to a second preset height. According to the dewatering method, under the condition that the deep foundation pit of the existing building is lack of water stop measures, through combined arrangement of step type annular sealed arrangement of light vacuum wells for water interception and arrangement of dewatering tubewells for dewatering, underground water in the deep foundation pit of the existing building is controlled by single dewatering measures, so that the underground water level is controlled to be belowan excavation surface. The safety of the deep foundation pit and smooth implementation of the existing building transformation are guaranteed; the problems that underground obstacles of the deep foundation pit of transformation engineering are difficult to treat, and a water-stopping curtain is difficult to construct are solved; the construction cost is reduced; green construction of underground water control is achieved; and high economic benefits are achieved.
