The invention discloses a highway and a corrugated beam guardrail mounting structure and method for an excavation road section. The structure comprises the excavation road section, excavation side ditches and excavation side slopes, wherein the excavation side ditches and the excavation side slopes are arranged on the outer side of the excavation road section. A bent part is arranged at the position, close to the upstream end of the corrugated beam guardrail, of each excavation side ditch; each bent part comprises a parallel section and an underneath pass section which are connected with each other; after the corrugated beam guardrails extend outwards and cross the lower penetrating section, the upstream ends of the corrugated beam guardrails are inserted into the excavation slopes, and stand columns of the corrugated beam guardrails are located on the two sides of the underneath pass section. The highway comprises the outwards-extending type corrugated beam guardrail mounting structure and the corrugated beam guardrail. The method comprises the steps that the positions of a corrugated beam guardrail and an excavation side ditch are sequentially arranged, and the excavation side ditches and the corrugated beam guardrail are constructed. The problems that in the prior art, a corrugated beam guardrail is arranged on an excavated road section, an outwards-extending type upstream end is inconvenient to arrange, and the protection effect is poor due to the fact that an energy absorption type upstream end is arranged are solved, and the purpose of effective vehicle protection is achieved.
