The invention discloses an adjustable formwork device for supporting guide walls and a guide wall supporting method, and relates to the field of underground diaphragm wall construction. The adjustable formwork device for supporting the guide walls comprises a first supporting formwork, a second supporting formwork sleeving one end of the first supporting formwork and a locking mechanism. The second supporting formwork is configured to move in a reciprocating mode in the length direction of the first supporting formwork. L-shaped guide wall hanging plates are correspondingly hinged to the end, away from the second supporting formwork, of the first supporting formwork and the end, away from the first supporting formwork, of the second supporting formwork, the locking mechanism is used for locking or unlocking the first supporting formwork and the second supporting formwork, and grouting openings are formed in the top of the first supporting formwork and/or the top of the second supporting formwork. According to the adjustable formwork device for supporting the guide walls and the guide wall supporting method, the guide walls with different intervals can be matched and supported, the utilization rate of the device is increased, and the cost is reduced; and meanwhile, the adjustable formwork device for supporting the guide walls has the advantages of being high in safety and reliability.
