The invention relates to the field of revetment structures, and particularly discloses a revetment structure for river water purification. The revetment structure comprises a base, wherein a revetment is arranged on the surface of the upper end of the base; a porous concrete base layer is arranged on the surface of the upper end of the revetment; a gravel inverted filter layer is arranged on the surface of the upper end of the porous concrete base layer; a soil matrix layer is arranged on the surface of the upper end of the gravel inverted filter layer; a green vegetation layer is arranged on the surface of the soil matrix layer; a water permeable baffle is arranged at the position, close to the lower end, of the surface of the green vegetation layer; a breakwater is arranged at the front end of the base; and a water outlet hole is formed in the surface of the front end of the breakwater. The revetment structure for river water purification is stable in structure, silt can be prevented from entering a river, the water purification effect is achieved, meanwhile, certain attractiveness is achieved, and the service life of the revetment structure can be prolonged.
