The invention provides a construction method of a drilled prefabricated composite pile, and belongs to the technical field of foundation pile construction. The construction method comprises the following steps that after a pile hole is filled with cement paste, a prefabricated pipe pile is sunk into the pile hole, and pipe holes in the two ends of the prefabricated pipe pile are connected with plugging devices; after the cement paste in the pile hole is solidified, earthwork between the prefabricated pipe pile and the ground surface is excavated out, and the pile top of the prefabricated pipe pile is exposed; the plugging device plugged at the pile top is removed, and high-strength grouting materials are injected into a pipe core of the prefabricated pipe pile; and anchoring steel bars are embedded at the pile top. According to the construction method, the procedure of embedding the anchoring steel bars is carried out after the earthwork is excavated out, construction of the anchoring steel bars can be visually controlled, and the embedding positions of the anchoring steel bars are accurate, and the perpendicularity is well controlled; and meanwhile, the labor intensity is reduced, the steel bar loss is reduced, and the situation that the steel bars are damaged due to improper operation during mechanical excavation is avoided.
