Vehicle door lock system
The invention provides a vehicle door lock system. The vehicle door lock system has a function of automatically closing a vehicle door in a semi-open state and a child safety lock function of preventing fingers from being clamped between the vehicle door in the semi-open state and a vehicle body. The system is provided with a vehicle door latch device (4), a child safety lock state detection unit (63), and a control unit (11). The vehicle door latch device (4) is provided with a latch mechanism (6) having a fork (20) and a claw lever (21), and a closing mechanism (10) for rotating the fork (20) at a half-latch position to a latch position, and a child safety lock mechanism (9) that switches the locked state of the latch hole (15) by the latch mechanism (6) between an unlocked state in which the latch hole (15) can be released by the operation of the inner handle (3) and a locked state in which the latch hole (15) cannot be released. The child safety lock state detection unit (63) detects whether the child safety lock mechanism (9) is in the unlocked state or the locked state. The control unit (11) executes a child safety lock priority mode in which the closing mechanism (10) cannot be driven on the basis of the locked state detected by the child safety lock state detection unit (63).
