The invention discloses a two-layer lifting and transverse moving garage. The two-layer lifting and transverse moving garage comprises an outer frame, transverse moving vehicle plates, lifting vehicle plates and an operation device, and further comprises a lifting driving device, a transverse moving driving device and a control device which are specially designed, wherein the lifting driving device comprises a set of lifting motor speed reducer, a lifting drum shaft, a lifting front drum, a lifting rear drum which are transversely arranged, and an upper fixed pulley, a lower fixed pulley, a lifting front steel cable and a lifting rear steel cable which are matched with each other, and a lifting limiting mechanism and a lifting positioning mechanism which are mounted on each lifting vehicle plate; and the transverse moving driving device comprises a motor speed reducer, a winding drum shaft, a front winding drum, a rear winding drum which are transversely arranged, and a front lower fixed pulley, a front upper fixed pulley, a front steel rope, a rear fixed pulley and a rear steel rope which are matched with each other, and a transverse moving clamping mechanism which is mounted on each transverse moving vehicle plates. According to the two-layer lifting and transverse moving garage, matched significant and beneficial improvement is made on the prior art, and the purpose of effectively reducing the overall manufacturing cost is achieved in a simple and low-cost mode on the premise that the operation efficiency, the operation safety and the operation convenience are guaranteed.
