The safety lifting platform comprises a lifting platform, an inner cavity is formed in the lifting platform, a driving gear is hinged to the interior of the inner cavity, the driving gear meshes with a driven gear, a first fixing block is fixedly connected to the interior of the inner cavity, a first rotating rod is fixedly connected to the driving gear, a rotating block is hinged to the end part of the first rotating rod, an opening is formed in the rotating block, a vertical rod penetrates through the opening and is sleeved with a sleeve block, and protruding blocks are fixedly connected to the two ends of the vertical rod. According to the lifting platform, the lower surface of a bearing block is slidably connected to the inner wall of the inner cavity, the bearing block can extend out of the inner cavity under pushing of a second rotating arm, and therefore the width of the lifting platform is increased, a worker on the lifting platform can better use the bearing block, and when the lifting platform breaks down and stops running, the worker can step on the bearing block to enter the interior of the building, so that the personal safety of the worker is guaranteed.
