The invention discloses a hinge shaft for mounting a cabinet door and a machining method of the hinge shaft. The hinge shaft comprises a hinge shaft body, a fixed hinge sheet body and a movable hinge sheet body, wherein the fixed hinge sheet body and the movable hinge sheet body are connected with the hinge shaft body; the hinge shaft body comprises a shaft body and two internal thread grooves; the fixed hinge sheet body comprises two fixed sleeves, a U-shaped connecting plate and a first transverse L-shaped plate; the hinge shaft body and the fixed hinge sheet body are fixed through screws penetrating through the internal thread grooves and internal thread through holes in a threaded mode; and the movable hinge sheet body comprises a sleeve, a second transverse L-shaped plate and a transverse rectangular plate. The hinge shaft is used for an embedded hinge, the internal thread through holes are drilled in the fixed hinge sheet body, the internal thread grooves in butt joint with the internal thread through holes are drilled in the hinge shaft body, the hinge shaft body and the fixed hinge sheet body are fixed through the screws penetrating through the internal thread through holes and the internal thread grooves, and the hinge shaft body with the screws is not prone to falling off.
