The invention discloses a water surface floating object cleaning device. The water surface floating object cleaning device comprises a shell, a collecting basket and a drainage device. The shell and the collecting basket are both in a groove shape, the collecting basket is placed in the shell, a groove opening of the collecting basket is attached to the inner side wall of the shell, a water outlet communicating with the interior of the shell is formed in the bottom of the shell, a water outlet in the bottom of the shell communicates with the drainage device, the shell is used for being arranged under the water surface, the horizontal height of a notch of the shell is 0.5-5 cm lower than the water surface, and water surface floating objects flow into the shell along with water flow and are intercepted and collected by the collecting basket. The drainage device is used for draining water entering the shell, so that water continuously flows into the shell from the notch of the shell, the water entering the shell is continuously drained away by the water drainage device, floating objects floating on the water surface near the shell flow into the shell along with water flow and are intercepted by the collecting basket, and the floating objects in the collecting basket can be cleaned after the collecting basket is full of the floating objects.
