The emergency escape device comprises a storage assembly, a shell, a baffle, a liquid level sensor and a controller, wherein the back face of the storage assembly is used for being fixed to the wall face, and an electric locking assembly of the storage assembly can automatically unlock when receiving an unlocking signal; the shell is provided with an inner cavity and a downward opening; one end of the baffle is hinged to the shell, and the other end of the baffle is detachably connected with the baffle through the electric locking assembly; when the baffle covers the opening, a folding ladder is in a folded state and stored in the cavity; when the baffle leaves the opening, the folding ladder can be released from the folded state and is changed into an unfolded state, and the free end falls out of the opening; the liquid level sensor can detect the water level height and send out water level data; and the controller can receive the water level data and judge whether to send out the unlocking signal to the electric locking assembly or not according to whether the water level data exceed the safety range or not. According to the emergency escape device for urban inland inundation, a rope ladder can be automatically unfolded when inland inundation happens, and escape help is provided for people in water.
