The invention discloses a steel form with a self-adaptive mechanism for building construction. The steel form comprises a control box and two steel form bodies, wherein two servo motors are arranged on the two side walls of the control box, output shafts of the servo motors are fixedly connected with reels, steel wire ropes are wound around the reels, the other ends of the steel wire ropes are connected with the steel form bodies, the side walls of the two steel form bodies are fixedly connected with guide pipes with the sealed upper ends and the open lower ends, the lower ends of the guide pipes are connected with bent pipes in a sealed mode, the bent pipes are in an L shape, one ends of the bent pipes are connected with deformation pipes in a sealed mode, the same branch pipe is connected between the two deformation pipes in a sealed mode, a liquid is arranged in the branch pipe, the deformation pipes, the bent pipes and the guide pipes, and two floating balls are arranged in the liquid. According to the steel form, the height between two steel forms can be adjusted in a self-adaptive mode, the position stability of the steel form during hoisting is guaranteed, and when the steel form bodies shake, the center line is found rapidly.
