The steel beam hoisting system is used for hoisting a steel beam in a steel structure building structure and is characterized by comprising a first construction area suitable for hoisting the steel beam by a tower crane or a truck crane, a second construction area provided with a steel beam hoisting device which is used for hoisting the steel beam, and a transferring device used for transferring the steel beam hoisted to the first construction area by the tower crane or the truck crane to a position below the steel beam hoisting device in the second construction area, so that the steel beam is hoisted by the steel beam hoisting device.
