The invention discloses a glue reducing agent based on amphiphilic calcite type calcium carbonate, which is composed of amphiphilic calcite type calcium carbonate, a surfactant, a water-retaining agent, a dispersant, other functional components and water. The other functional components can be one or more of a foam stabilizer, a reinforcing agent and a complexing agent. The preparation method comprises the following steps of 1, preparing amphiphilic calcite type calcium carbonate, and 2, preparing the glue reducing agent. Compared with the prior art, the method has the following advantages that 1, the adaptability of the glue reducing agent is improved; 2, the glue reducing agent and the modified limestone are prepared at the same time, and the process steps are reduced; and 3, the modified high-performance calcium carbonate is protected by utilizing other components of the glue reducing agent, so that the cost of independently storing limestone is avoided.
