The present invention provides a cordierite sintered body, a production method therefor, a composite substrate, and an electronic device, the cordierite sintered body having a bulk density of 2.497-2.507 g/cm3 and a ratio of the sum of the intensities of the maximum peaks of components other than the cordierite component to the peak top intensity of the (110) surface of cordierite in an X-ray diffraction pattern of 0.0009-0.0020. The cordierite sintered body has extremely few heterogeneous phases other than the cordierite component, and thus has high surface evenness when the surface is ground into a mirror surface shape.
本发明提供一种堇青石烧结体、其制法、复合基板以及电子器件,所述堇青石烧结体在X射线衍射图中,除了堇青石成分以外的各成分的最大峰的强度的总和相对于堇青石的(110)面的峰顶强度的比比为0.0009~0.0020,体积密度为2.497~2.507g/cm3。该堇青石烧结体中,除了堇青石成分以外的异相极其少,因而在将表面研磨成镜面状时的表面平整度高。
