The invention discloses a driving method of a double door. The method adopts a door driving device integrating transmission and locking functions. The device comprises a first arc plate which is horizontally arranged, wherein first inserting holes are formed in the first arc plate at equal intervals, a first driving roller with the axis parallel to the first arc plate is installed above the first arc plate, and first locking rods which are connected with the first inserting holes in an inserted mode are installed on the first driving roller in an annular array mode. According to the driving method, a motor with a self-locking function drives the corresponding first driving roller or a second driving roller to rotate in the forward direction and the reverse direction respectively, the corresponding first arc plate or second arc plate is driven to pull a door body to be opened or closed by utilizing the meshing inserting connection relation, so that the door driving device with the transmission and locking functions is realized, various situations of rapid door opening, automatic door locking when door opening is incomplete, self-locking when door opening is complete, slow door closing at a constant speed and door lock opening in a non-power state are realized, and the driving method can adapt to various occasions.
