The high-strength composite porcelain post insulator comprises a porcelain post body and an outer umbrella skirt, wherein the periphery of the porcelain post body is sleeved with the outer umbrella skirt, the porcelain post body is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 50-80 parts of fly ash, 20-30 parts of calcium carbonate, 20-30 parts of kaolin, 10-15 parts of aluminum oxide, 10-20 parts of diatomite, 1-5 parts of titanium dioxide, 3-5 parts of silicon carbide, 1-2 parts of a reinforcing agent and 0.1-1 part of a stabilizer, and is simple in structure. According to the invention, the porcelain post body and the outer umbrella skirt have similar thermal expansion coefficients, so that under the condition that the outdoor temperature changes drastically, the phenomenon that the porcelain post body and the outer umbrella skirt expand and shrink unevenly due to temperature changes can be avoided, potential safety hazards are eliminated, and reliability and safety are higher.
