The invention discloses a preparation method of a high-strength aluminum oxide suspension insulator and a porcelain insulator structure, wherein the preparation method comprises the following steps: 1, adopting the following blank raw materials in percentage by mass: 20-30% of industrial aluminum oxide, 15-25% of feldspar, 20-25% of ball clay, 20-25% of clay granules with the granularity of 20-40 meshes and 3-5% of SrCO3; 2, sanding the blank raw material to obtain blank particles with the diameter of 3-5 microns; 3, sequentially carrying out ball milling, impurity removal, moisture control, drying, fettling, drying, glazing and sintering on the blank particles obtained in the step 2 to obtain an aluminum oxide porcelain insulator body; 4, processing the aluminum oxide porcelain insulator body into the shape that the outer contour of the longitudinal section is in a rounded rectangle shape and the inner contour is of an arch-shaped structure; and assembling the porcelain head with a steel foot to obtain a porcelain insulator structure. The prepared porcelain insulator has the advantages of high production qualification rate, stable mechanical performance, stable electrical performance and the like, and meets the requirement of safe operation of a high-voltage line.
