A rapid construction method for gate pier concrete high and large formworks comprises the following steps that before surveying and setting out are conducted and installation is conducted, formwork installation side lines are determined through surveying and setting out, and the position line of each formwork is marked according to a board matching drawing; the formworks are assembled, and before installation, all the sets of formworks are assembled in advance; the formwork are installed, wherein workers are matched with a crane to sequentially install the assembled formworks according to a surveying and setting-out line and a plate matching drawing; and the template is reinforced and adjusted. By the adoption of the structure, an existing Doka formwork of a project is utilized to be assembled into a high and large formwork supporting system, steel formworks do not need to be additionally configured and customized according to a traditional construction technology, the construction efficiency is improved, the construction period is greatly shortened, and the construction cost is reduced.
