The embodiment of the invention provides a long steel rail working vehicle which comprises a carriage, a plurality of pairs of stand columns, a walking rail, a raceway beam and a rail collecting vehicle. The carriage comprises a vehicle body and a wheel pair used for bearing the vehicle body, the wheel pair is used for being arranged on a rail of a railway in a sliding mode, and the stand columns are fixed to the upper portion of the vehicle body. The multiple pairs of stand columns are arranged in the length direction of the carriage at intervals, the raceway beam is arranged on the stand columns and used for bearing a long steel rail, the walking rail is installed at the top ends of the multiple pairs of stand columns, and the rail collecting vehicle is borne on the walking rail and can move along the walking rail. And the rail collecting vehicle is provided with a clamp which is used for clamping the long steel rail and at least can place the long steel rail on the raceway beam. According to the long steel rail operating vehicle, the number of required rail shifting operating personnel can be reduced, and the operating efficiency is improved.
