The invention provides a vertical lifting device for a reverse soil taking opening and a mounting method thereof. The vertical lifting device comprises an elevator frame body, a guide rail, a winch, an elevator car and a dumper, wherein the guide rail is arranged on the elevator frame body, the winch is arranged at the reverse soil taking opening, the elevator car is connected with the winch and vertically ascend and descends along the guide rail, the dumper is arranged in the elevator car, the dumper directly enters the elevator car and descends to the foundation pit soil taking position through a lift, an excavator excavates soil and loads the soil, the lift is lifted after full load, and the dumper is driven out of the elevator car to complete soil discharging. The vertical lifting device is simple and convenient to machine, manufacture and install on site, is high in utilization efficiency in the reverse construction process, and saves cost; the soil is directly piled in a carriage of the dumper during soil excavation, so that multiple times of overturning of the soil are reduced, and the construction efficiency is improved; and soil taking and loading are directly completed on a soil cutting surface, and B0 plate mechanical equipment occupies small area, so that on-site safe and civilized construction management is facilitated.
