The invention relates to a fixing structure and a fixing method for a construction joint steel wire mesh formwork. A first pouring steel bar group is arranged in a first side pouring area of a construction joint in the fixing structure, and the steel wire mesh formwork is blocked between the first side pouring area and the construction joint. The fixing structure comprises a plurality of main back edges, a plurality of secondary back edges and a plurality of fasteners for overlapping the main back edges and the secondary back edges to form a latticed fence, wherein the fence is attached to one side, back to the first side pouring area, of the steel wire mesh formwork, and the fasteners are clamped to the intersections of the main back edges and the secondary back edges and fixed to the first pouring steel bar group. According to the fixing structure and the fixing method, the steel wire mesh formwork is combined with the detachable latticed fence, so that the technical problems that in the prior art, formwork erecting, formwork removing and later-period chiseling for construction joint construction are time-consuming and labor-consuming, and the existing shaped steel wire mesh formwork is low in applicability are solved.
