The invention discloses municipal manhole cover moving equipment which structurally comprises a carrying mechanism, a built-in fixing seat, moving wheels and a machine body. The carrying mechanism is mounted over the built-in fixing seat in a built-in mode, the built-in fixing seat is mounted on the surface of the lower end of the machine body in a welded mode, and the moving wheels are movably mounted under the machine body in a clamped mode. After a supporting device is controlled to protrude outwards and be embedded into a manhole cover, the supporting device is separated from the wrapping state of a rubber wrapping layer, then a movable plate is lifted upwards under elastic supporting of a spring, the movable plate swings with a limiting shaft as the center fulcrum, the movable plate is attached to the inner wall of the manhole cover to form a built-in state after being flattened, and the problem that the the manhole cover slips down due to the fact that friction force between the manhole cover and the clamping end face of the supporting device disappears when the manhole cover is clamped and lifted by equipment is solved.
