The invention discloses barite-based radiation-proof concrete, and belongs to the technical field of building materials. The radiation-proof concrete comprises the following components in parts by weight: 270-300 parts of cement, 1350-1500 parts of barite, 700-850 parts of barite sand, 350-500 parts of boron ore sand, 60-90 parts of an expanding agent, 7-10 parts of a water reducing agent, 70-85 parts of an admixture and 150-200 parts of water, wherein the apparent density of the barite is 3800-3950 kg/m<3>, and the grade of the barite is 8-20 mm; the grade of the barite sand ranges from 0.13 mm to 1.25 mm; the grade of the boron ore sand is 0.17 to 2.74 mm; and the expanding agent is a UEA expanding agent. The radiation-proof concrete disclosed by the invention has good mechanical properties and thermal stability, also has good anti-radiation performance, and can effectively prevent gamma ray radiation and neutron radiation.
