The invention discloses a steel ladle repairing material produced by utilizing a recycled waste corundum nozzle seating brick material and a method for repairing a steel ladle lining. The repairing material is prepared from 84% of the waste corundum brick material (comprising 15% of a granular material with the particle size of 6-3 mm, 25% of a granular material with the particle size of 3-1 mm, 35% of a granular material with the particle size of 1-0 mm and 9% of 200-mesh powder), 5% of spinel powder, 2% of fused magnesium powder, 4% of activated aluminum oxide micro powder and 5% of 71 cement. All the raw materials are evenly mixed in a mixing mill, discharged, packaged in bags and stored in a damp-proof mode. When the steel ladle repairing material is in use, when a steel ladle is off line and needs to be repaired, a proper amount of the steel ladle repairing material is weighed according to the repairing area, water accounting for 4-5% of the total weight of the material is added, and the materials are stirred uniformly in a stirrer for standby application; residual steel slag, attachments and dust on the inner wall of the steel ladle are cleaned up; a to-be-repaired place is smeared with the repairing material until the to-be-repaired place is flat; smearing is performed for the second time after ten minutes; and then the to-be-repaired place is naturally aired for 8 hours and then normally baked.
