The invention relates to a strand pulling device for a steel strand, which comprises a box body, at least one pair of meshed transmission gears, at least one driving gear, at least one pair of rotating shafts and at least one driving shaft, wherein the box body is provided with a feed port and a discharge port, each rotating shaft and the driving shaft are rotatably connected to the box body, each rotating shaft is provided with one transmission gear, each driving shaft is provided with a driving gear, each transmission gear is provided with a groove formed in the circumferential direction, the two grooves of the pair of transmission gears form a steel strand conveying path, and the driving shafts are externally connected with a first motor and are meshed with one transmission gear in the pair of transmission gears through the driving gears to transmit power to the transmission gears. A steel strand enters from the feed port, is compressed in the conveying path and is discharged from the discharge port under the action of friction force, and by the adoption of the structure, the technical problems that an existing steel strand pulling device is complex in structure and inconvenient to debug, and consequently the construction progress is affected are solved.
