The invention discloses an efficient hole digging instrument. The instrument comprises a supporting frame arranged at the tail end of a tractor, a traction table, wheels at the two ends of the supporting frame, a vertical movement framework, a worm gear cabinet arranged on the supporting frame and a hole digging instrument body. The hole digging instrument body comprises the vertical movement framework and the worm gear cabinet, and a guide-in roller of the worm gear cabinet is connected with a rear rotating rod of the tractor. A rotating rod is connected with the vertical movement framework through a first belt pulley and a second belt pulley and pulls the vertical movement framework to rotate actively. The vertical movement framework is connected with rollers of the wheels through a traction device. In this way, the defects that in the prior art, a vertical movement framework of an active hole digging instrument is not simple in structure and inconvenient to demount, the vertical movement framework is often damaged, the higher repair cost is caused, and application of the hole digging instrument is not facilitated are effectively overcome.
