The invention discloses a sliding type inclinometer which comprises an inclinometer pipe with a guide groove formed in the inner side, a probe is placed in the inclinometer pipe and connected with a wire, sliding rails perpendicular to the probe are connected to the side portions of the upper end and the lower end of the probe, and the two ends of each sliding rail are slidably connected with movable plates which are located on the two sides of the probe respectively and can be close to or away from the probe. The movable plates are rotationally connected with a guide wheels matched with the guide grooves, and first reset devices are arranged between the movable plates and the probe. When the inclinometer pipe deforms, the probe moves towards one side of the probe through the deformation position and one movable plate at the upper end or the lower end of the probe, the probe is pushed by the first reset devices to extrude the first reset devices on the other side, when the pressures of the two first reset devices are equal, the probe stops moving, and at the moment, the probe is located in the middle of the two movable plates; the probe can smoothly pass through the deformation position, meanwhile, when the probe inclines, the sensor generates a signal, and an operator can conveniently and accurately judge the deformation position.
